I am not an event planner. If I were an event planner, that beautiful header above these words would say “Katelyn Smith Event Planning.” Anyone who knows me that planning is not what I do.
If you look up the definition of “plan,” you’ll find this:
-to arrange the parts of; to design
-to devise or project the realization or achievement of
-to have in mind
If you look up the definition of “produce,” you’ll find this:
-to offer to view or notice
-to give birth or rise to
-to make available for public exhibition or dissemination; to oversee the making of
-to cause to have existence or to happen; to bring about
-to give being, form, or shape to; to make
-to compose, create, or bring out by intellectual or physical effort
Can you see the difference?
I am very hands on. I love to create and build. I like to get dirty (I grew up in the South; it’s expected). I will plan for you, but I will also produce for you. I’ll help you plan your dream event, and then I’ll make it come to life. It’s my passion. I’ll create the event and build you up.
